Hi! Welcome to my web site! If we haven't met in person yet, let me introduce myself to you. My name is Maureen Shotton and I have been selling real estate in Regina since 1987. After studying Interior Design at the University of Manitoba, I moved to Regina in the late 70's. I raised 4 children here and was heavily involved in all of their activities - hockey, gymnastics, soccer, music. Being on the run with them plus selling real estate certainly trained me in the ways of "time management"! Over the years I have been active in our local real estate association on various real estate committees and have attended a steady stream of classes and educational opportunities.  I constantly strive to keep abreast of trends and up-to-date on pertinent facts effecting our city's economy.

A lot has changed in real estate since I sold my first house (Internet? Heck, we didn't even have cell phones...............yes, it's true............there was life before celular phones!) but the main elements have remained the same. Buying or selling real estate is still one of the most important decisions you will make in your lifetime. You need to find a real estate professional that you feel comfortable with that will work with you and for you to find that perfect home or to sell your present one. That's where I come in. I understand that real estate is more than dollars and cents. That first home has got to "feel right". And, just how do you go about moving up to a bigger home? Or, down to a smaller one? Selling the home you've loved is sometimes more difficult than you could imagine. There are memories there and sometimes they cause you to "have a moment". But, don't worry. That's where I come in. I'll provide you with advice and information, whether buying, selling, or both so that you can make the decisions that are right for you.

(I say "try" because I am no internet guru!) Under the heading "Articles" you'll find copies of the newspaper articles that I and two of my friends (also realtors) have written. Penny Milton, Chris Swann and myself get together on a regular basis to brainstorm and share industry information as well as laughs. We decided that, even though we don't all work in the same office or even the same company, we shared the same work ethics and philosophy and have decided to do a little writing about the life of a realtor.
